ELMER W. FRIESE

FRIEDHEIM -- Elmer William Friese, 78, of Friedheim, died Monday, Jan. 27, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 1, 1913, here, son of William and Martha Brune Friese. He and the former Jewel B. Statler were married May 3, 1936.

Friese was a farmer, and member of Trinity Lutheran Church here and Cape County ASC.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul Friese of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Helen Riehn of Friedheim, Kathleen Sewing of Jackson; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert, and a twin brother, Roy.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. The Rev. Robert Daniel will officiate, with burial in Trinity Church Cemetery at Friedheim.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
