SCOTT CITY -- Elmer Henry Prindle, 92, of Scott City, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 16, 1902, in Oran, son of Ernest and Ida Pobst Prindle. He and Marie Louise Mekan were married Oct. 19, 1941.
Prindle was a journeyman machinist with Frisco Railroad from 1927-67. He moved here from St. Louis in 1967. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, and Maplewood Knights of Columbus Council 903.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Ernest Prindle of Oran; a sister, Inez Dame of Sikeston; a grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 4:30-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 6:30.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Denis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery at Oran.
