ORAN -- Funeral for Elmer F. Elfrank of Oran was held Wednesday at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. The Rev. Don Glastetter officiated, with burial in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City.
Elfrank, 72, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, in O'Fallon.
He was born March 9, 1927, at Chaffee, son of John Theodore and Lorena Urhahn Elfrank.
Elfrank retired as a titanium operator at National Lead Co. in Lemay. He was a member of VFW Post 3777. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Marlene Kitson of Festus; two sons, Les Elfrank of St. Peters, Jerry Elfrank of Barnhart; a sister, Dorothy Seyer of Jackson; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
