SIKESTON -- Elma Edith Adams, 92, of Vanduser died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 1, 1907, at Double Springs, Ala., daughter of F.M. and Docia Jackson McDonald. She married W.G. Adams, who died June 21, 1999.
She was a member of Vanduser Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, F.G. "Jack" Adams of Sikeston and William Leo Adams of Flintstone, Ga.; three daughters, Marie Geselle of Grand Rapid, Minn., Jewel James of Sikeston and Dorothy Glover of Vanduser; two brothers, Louie McDonald and Lester McDonald of Sikeston; one sister, Olivia Engram of Vanduser; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lee Fansler and the Rev. Glenn Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
