Ellouise Conway, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Southfork, Arkansas, to Crawford and Vesta Meaks Boyd. She and Lester Conway were married Aug. 1, 1952, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He preceded her in death April 12, 1996.

Ellouise graduated from Glenwood High School in Glenwood, Arkansas. She was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene in Cape Girardeau. She had been the head cook at Jefferson Grade School.

Survivors include three sons, Lester (Donna) Conway, Mike Conway and Tim Conway, all of Cape Girardeau; a brother, V.T. Boyd of Cortez, Colorado; a sister, Patty Parker of Glenwood; two grandchildren, Tyler Conway of Cape Girardeau and Kelly Kelley of Delta; and a great-grandchild, Taylor Kelley of Delta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Shirley A. Vaught.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum, with the Rev. Farris Nabors officiating. Entombment will follow.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
