DONGOLA, Ill. -- Ellis E. Dillow, 76, of Dongola, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion.
He was born July 23, 1918, in Dongola, son of Ralph and Ruth Ury Dillow. He was married to Irene Dillow.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Dongola and of the Disabled American Veterans, the Anna V.F.W., and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Duane Dillow of Cheyenne, Wyo.; one daughter, Connie Paulovich of Laramie, Wyo.; one brother, Roy Dillow of Joliet; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at Norris & Sons Funeral Home in Jonesboro Saturday after 4 p.m. and at the First Lutheran Church in Dongola on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dennis Cooley will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
