Ellie Marie Heatley, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Dutchtown to Cornelius Lee and Michel Merick Heatley.
Ellie worked at Phister's Drive-In for several years before it closed in 1971. She also worked at Frontier BBQ and later worked as a cook at The Lutheran Home.
She is survived by two brothers, Melvin Robert Heatley (Vicki) of Jackson and Raymond Lee Heatley (Marie) of San Diego; one sister, Lula Alice Cummins of Boone, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Eldon Heatley; and two sisters, Emilda Irene Guthrie and Effie May McClure.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
