DONGOLA, Ill. -- Ellena Lingle, 91, of Dongola died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born July 27, 1905, at Wetaug, daughter of William and Letha Hasing Kearney. She married Raymond A. Lingle, who preceded her in death.
Lingle was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Lingle of Dongola, Darryl Lingle of Chicago; a daughter, Glenda Janos of Elk Grove Village; three sisters, Lucille Crader of Nashville, Ill., May Parks of Anna, Edith Gornik of Coconut Grove, Fla.; a brother, Pat Kearney of Ullin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler and Everett Frizzell officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Cypress.
