SIKESTON, Mo. -- Ella Gertrude Skinner, 88, of Kevil, Ky., died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at Life Care Center in LaCenter, Ky.
She was born May 6, 1913, in Barlow, Ky., daughter of W.D. and Ella Medlin Terrell. She and James D. Skinner were married in 1930. He died in 1988.
Skinner lived in Anniston, Mo., a number of years. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, David Skinner of Paducah, Ky., Joe and Donnie Skinner of Kevil, Russ Skinner of Sikeston, Mike Skinner of Mayfield, Ky.; two daughters, Lenora Hamm and Barbra Chillcutt of Ellsinore, Mo.; a sister, Martha Forest of Clearwater, Mo.; 31 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
