Ella Jean Moore, 75, of Oak Ridge passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 19, 1947, in Cape Girardeau to the late J.W. and Mary Taylor Proffer. Ella Jean and John Moore were married Aug. 25, 1965. He survives of the home.

She worked for Thorngate Ltd from 1976 to 2000. She enjoyed making jewelry, sewing and flower gardening.

Survivors include her husband, John Moore; children, Rhonda Lee (Terry) Wildman, John Adam (Tami) Moore and Henry "Hank" Owen (Rachel) Moore; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Dorothy (Kenny) Sides, Doris (David) Jones, Jackie (Tyson) Norman and Dub (Cheryl) Proffer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Proffer.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home -- Jackson.
