UNIONTOWN -- Ella A. Kasten, 77, of Uniontown died Wednesday, July 29, 1998. She was born April 16, 1921, in Red Bud, Ill., daughter of Arnold and Louise Rowold Erdmann. She married Ernst W. Kasten Oct. 20, 1946. He died Oct. 17, 1994. Kasten was a member of Grace Lutheran Church...

UNIONTOWN -- Ella A. Kasten, 77, of Uniontown died Wednesday, July 29, 1998.

She was born April 16, 1921, in Red Bud, Ill., daughter of Arnold and Louise Rowold Erdmann. She married Ernst W. Kasten Oct. 20, 1946. He died Oct. 17, 1994.

Kasten was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three sons, Wilhelm and Richard Kasten of Uniontown, Alvin Kasten of Frohna; a brother, Melvin Erdmann of Red Bud; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-8 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
