PERRYVILLE -- Ella C. Taylor, 85, of Marion, Ill., formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993, at Marion Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Randolph County, Ill., daughter of Felix and Ann Teresa Cecil Tucker. She married James Floyd Taylor, who died Oct. 1, 1980...

PERRYVILLE -- Ella C. Taylor, 85, of Marion, Ill., formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993, at Marion Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Randolph County, Ill., daughter of Felix and Ann Teresa Cecil Tucker. She married James Floyd Taylor, who died Oct. 1, 1980.

Survivors include a son, Larry Taylor of Marion; five daughters, Doris Deciechi of St. Louis, Ruby Nichols of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Joyce Benge of Wilmington, Ill., Dorothy Booten of Marion, Kathy Slack of Ormond Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, several brothers and sisters.

Funeral mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church here. The Rev. J. Edward Wilson will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery here.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 3-9 p.m. Friday. A wake will be held at 7.
