PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Elizabeth M. "Sis" Versheldon, 95, of Perryville died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born May 23, 1906, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of August and Anna M. Gotto Versheldon. Versheldon was retired from International Shoe Co. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Elizabeth M. "Sis" Versheldon, 95, of Perryville died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 23, 1906, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of August and Anna M. Gotto Versheldon.

Versheldon was retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include a son, John Versheldon; a brother, William "Bill" Versheldon; a sister, Lucille Young, all of Perryville; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7:30 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
