EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Elizabeth T. Peterson of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. Larry Smith will officiate.

Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park.

Peterson, 77, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born May 31, 1922, in Mayfield, Ky., daughter of Stanley B. and Ruthie Lee Thomas. She and Elmer Peterson were married in 1969.

Peterson lived in Mississippi County most of her life.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Marion Thomas of Cape Girdeau; three sisters, Evelyn Presson of Charleston, Irene Thomas and Imogene Burney of East Prairie.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
