ELIZABETH I. WILFERTH

JACKSON -- Elizabeth I. Wilferth, 78, of Jackson, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 24, 1912, near Jackson, daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Heuschaber Steimel. She married Eugene E.E. Wilferth Nov. 22, 1941. He died Aug. 16, 1964.

The Wilferths built and operated Seven Cedars Tavern and Trading Post at Millersville a number of years. She later worked at Cape LaCroix Manor.

Survivors include two sons, Tom Wilferth of Jackson, Paul Wilferth of Cleburne, Texas; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
