ANNA, Ill. -- Elizabeth Galbraith, 89, of Anna died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at City Care Center in Cobden.
She was born Jan. 26, 1908, in Grassland, Ky., daughter of Hartford and Lela Ann Bullock Johnson. She and Earl Galbraith were married Jan. 27, 1923. He died April 30, 1989.
Galbraith was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna.
Survivors include two sons, Fred Galbraith of Anna, Carl Galbraith of Port Orchard, Wash.; a daughter, Wilma Smith of Herrin; two sisters, Ada Galbraith and Jessie Scivally of Anna.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, her parents, three brothers, and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. J.R. Galbraith officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday at the funeral home from noon to service time.
