SIKESTON -- Elizabeth Fuchs, 79, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at her home. She was born March 7, 1915, in Oran, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Vaughan Bowman. She and N. Edward Fuchs Jr. were married May 20, 1935. He died Aug. 18, 1974...

SIKESTON -- Elizabeth Fuchs, 79, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, April 5, 1994, at her home.

She was born March 7, 1915, in Oran, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Vaughan Bowman. She and N. Edward Fuchs Jr. were married May 20, 1935. He died Aug. 18, 1974.

Fuchs was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sons, N. Edward III, Joseph, Robert and John Fuchs, all of Sikeston; a sister, Adagene Dixon of Key Largo, Fla.; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. today.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Church, with Msgr. William Stanton and the Rev. Amel Shibley officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.
