HERCULANEUM -- Eliza Stalcup Boyer, 89, formerly of Sikeston and a resident of Herculaneum, died April 19, 1993, at Jefferson memorial Hospital in Crystal City.
She was born Sept. 6, 1903, in Carmi, Ill, to the late Jacob E. and Vesta Sutton Griffin.
She first married Henry J. Stalcup on March 27, 1922. He preceded her in death on "April 21, 1969. She later married John Boyer, who preceded her in death in October 1978.
She was formerly employed by Sikeston Dry Cleaners and Laundry, and had worked as a housekeeper for many years.
She was a charter member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Stalcup and Raymond Stalcup, both of Sikeston; one daughter, Betty Dial of Herculaneum; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today. The body will be moved at noon Wednesday to the First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Billie Butler officiating.
Burial will be in Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
