ELEANOR L. DIEBOLD

ORAN -- Eleanor L. Diebold, 90, of Oran died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau

She was born Oct. 8, 1909, at New Hamburg, daughter of Frank and Rose Diebold LeGrand. She was married to George Diebold.

Diebold was a homemaker. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran and St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Marvin Diebold and Ralph Diebold, both of Oran; two daughters, Frances Rose Nenninger of St. Ann and Donna Fisk of Oran; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran at 5 p.m. Monday. There will be parish prayers at 7 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran. The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate, with burial in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
