ANNISTON, Mo. -- Elbert "Cotton" Glodjo, 78, of Anniston died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Wickliffe, Ky., son of Dallas and Lillian Turner Glodjo. He and Daisy Miller were married Feb. 14, 1940, at Charleston, Mo.
Glodjo lived in Mississippi County most of his life. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James "Pete" Glodjo of Marion, Ill.; three daughters, Lona "Sue" Chutsch of Edwardsville, Mich., Jewell Farrow of Columbia, Mo., Dotty Ward of Charleston; a brother, Bob Glodjo of Port Gibson, Miss.; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a daughter and a grandson.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie, Mo.
