SIKESTON -- Elbert F. Clark, 71, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, June 11, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 2, 1920, in Clarksville, Ark., son of Emerson Grant and Della Witt Clark. He and Imogene Edwards were married June 28, 1951, in Piggott, Ark.
Clark was a retired farmer, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Sikeston IOOF Lodge, Chaffee Elks Lodge, Sikeston Eagles 3319, and charter member of Morley VFW Post 5368.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Stanley Clark of Sikeston; a daughter, Barbara White of Sikeston; three brothers, Webster Clark of Olathe, Kan., Roy Clark of Bandon, Ore., Henry Clark of Moses Lake, Wash.; a sister, Ruth Vangilder of Del City, Okla., and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry, and a brother.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Marvin Graham will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.
