Elaine F. Stout, 79, of Ullin, Ill., formerly of Mounds, Ill., died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.
She was born Sept. 29, 1928, at Aurora, Ill., daughter of Robert B. and Jessie Jackson Caswell. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Mounds.
Survivors include seven daughters, Jeanna Juliano of Oveido, Fla., Sherry Parks, of Sandhurst, Ill., Barb Rose, of Paris, Tenn., Beth Drummond, of Puryear, Tenn., Patty Makris, of Ormond Beach, Fla., Lisa Tolbert of Tamms, Ill., and Gloria Sutton, of Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Dan Stout of Benton, Ill., Darrel Linden of Ormond Beach, John Steil of Advance, Mo.; a sister, Liz Capet of Yorkville, Ill., four stepdaughters, Sue Gilley of Mounds, Karen Rodriguez and, Lois Ann Merema, both of Cummings, Ga., Sandy Stout of Rodgersville, Mo., three stepsons, Jim Stout of Metropolis, Ill., Richard Stout of Cape Girardeau, Bill Stout of Groves, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil and a son.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dr. Larry L. Potts officiating.
Cremation will follow.
