ORAN, Mo. -- E.J. Jackson, 75, of Milwaukee, Wis., died Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee.
He was born May 27, 1925, at Holland, Mo., son of Floyd and Cornelaus Hays Jackson.
Formerly of Oran, he moved to Milwaukee six years ago. He was a retired truck driver and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Gay Jackson of Oran; five sons, Thomas Jackson of Indianapolis, Ind., Raymond Jackson of St. Louis, Timmy Jackson with the U.S. Army in Korea, Gary and Keith Jackson of Milwaukee; six daughters, Elizabeth Jackson of Peoria, Ill., Felecia Weston of Oran, Mattie, Norma, Flora and Kathy Jackson, all of Milwaukee.
Also surviving is his mother of Malden, Mo.; three brothers, Henry Jackson of Chicago, Charles Jackson of Indianapolis, Pearl Jackson of Mississippi; three sisters, Norma Wright of Malden, Celestine Jackson of Decatur, Ga., Katheryn Chandler of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Elder David Pullen officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
