SIKESTON, Mo. -- Nina Eileen Lambert, 76, of Sikeston died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center. She was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Sikeston, daughter of Lex Monroe and Faye Dunn Smith. She and Charles Ray Lambert were married April 5, 1941, at Charleston, Mo. He died Oct. 10, 1998...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Nina Eileen Lambert, 76, of Sikeston died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Sikeston, daughter of Lex Monroe and Faye Dunn Smith. She and Charles Ray Lambert were married April 5, 1941, at Charleston, Mo. He died Oct. 10, 1998.

Lambert was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Lambert of Sikeston; a sister, Lois Jobe of Des Moines, Iowa; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan and Johnny Hester officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
