Eileen Cruse

ANNA, Il. -- Eileen Sue Cruse, 44, of Anna died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 20, 1959, in Fairfield, Calif., daughter of Marlyn Hoffman and JoAnne Hersom Forehand. She married Gaylon Cruse June 5, 1976, in Dongola, Ill.

Cruse was employed as a secretary and clerk at Taylor, Dodd and Wood Insurance. She coached softball and soccer and was youth leader and member at the First Baptist Church in Dongola.

Survivors include her mother; her husband; a son, Trenton of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Treena of Anna; two brothers, Steve and Loran Hoffman, both of Dongola; two sisters, Sharol Hutchison of Pinckneyville, Ill., and Jeanette Hoffman of Anna.

Friends may call at First Baptist Church in Dongola from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will be at the church at 11 a.m. Monday with interment to follow at the Anna Cemetery.
