Funeral service for Effie Mae McClure of Cahokia, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jack Cathcart will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. today.
McClure, 56, died Monday, March 22, 1993, at Centreville Hospital in Centreville, Ill.
She was born July 17, 1936, at Dutchtown, daughter of Cornelius and Michael Merrick Heatley. She and Bill McClure were married Dec. 13, 1952.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Billy McClure of Cahokia; three daughters, Betty Bryant, Patricia Funken and Sheila White of Cahokia; four brothers, Eldon Heatley of St. John's, Melvin Heatley of Jackson, Raymond Heatley of San Diego, Calif. and Ben Heatley of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Ellie Heatley of Cape Girardeau, Emilda Guthrie of Flint, Mich. and Lula Cummins and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
