WYATT -- Edwin Staples, 84, of Ormond Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, May 19, 1992, at Ormond Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 17, 1908, at Wyatt. He moved to Ormond Beach from Lynchburgh, Va., in 1962. He was a retired electrical engineer with General Electric. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Carole Emons and Sonja Gourdier of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, George Staples of Charleston, Sydney Staples of East Prairie, and six grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach.

Volusia Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
