JACKSON -- Edward L. Mungle, 50, of Jackson, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1993, at his home. He was born Feb. 1, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of Gilbert nad Olga Loos Mungle. Mungle was a mechanic at Sam Tanksley Trucking in Cape Girardeau from 1977-85, and was self-employed at Ed's Auto Repair in Jackson from 1986-91. He was a member of American Legion here, and served with the U.S. Army in Italy from 1960-63...

JACKSON -- Edward L. Mungle, 50, of Jackson, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1993, at his home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of Gilbert nad Olga Loos Mungle.

Mungle was a mechanic at Sam Tanksley Trucking in Cape Girardeau from 1977-85, and was self-employed at Ed's Auto Repair in Jackson from 1986-91. He was a member of American Legion here, and served with the U.S. Army in Italy from 1960-63.

Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Kinder of Burfordville; his mother of Jackson, and a sister, Sandra Smith of Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
