SCOTT CITY -- Funeral Mass for Edward A. Heisserer, Scott City Route 1, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso. The Rev. Oliver Clavin will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 3 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 6:30.

Heisserer, 91, died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 7, 1907, at Kelso, son of Andrew John and Annie Mary Glueck Heisserer. He and Alene Catherine Messmer were married March 7, 1942, at Kelso. She died Aug. 4, 1992.

Heisserer was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Augustine Church and its Men's Sodality. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include 16 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
