PERRYVILLE -- Edward G. Bigler, 79, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1992, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis.
He was born July 13, 1913, in Cobden, Ill., son of Fred and Emma Stadelbacher Bigler. He married the former Florence C. Turlin.
Bigler was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Martha Hayes of Country Club Hill, Ill., Margaret Schmitt of Lake St. Louis; a son, William Bigler of Bourbonnais, Ill.; three brothers, Joseph and John Bigler of Carbondale, Robert Bigler of Clifton, Ill.; nine sisters, Mary Waichukaski, Frances Freeman, Helen Gregory and Ruth Gooden of Carbondale, Ill., Barbara Gooden of Pinckneyville, Ill., Betty Bigler of St. Louis, Louise Bigler and Margaret Sullivan of Orlando, Fla., Regina Gershabacher of Michigan; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Charles Rice will officiate, with burial in Memorial Gardens at Herrin, Ill.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. Friday, with a wake service at 7.
