PERRYVILLE -- Edna M. Vinson, 79, of Bridgeton, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis. She was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Chester, Ill., daughter of Pius and Marcella Brewer Moonier. She married Amos Paul Vinson, who died March 31, 1976...

PERRYVILLE -- Edna M. Vinson, 79, of Bridgeton, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at DePaul Health Center in St. Louis.

She was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Chester, Ill., daughter of Pius and Marcella Brewer Moonier. She married Amos Paul Vinson, who died March 31, 1976.

Vinson was a graduate of St. Vincent's High School. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Bridgeton.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Misuraca of Maryland Heights, Ruth Fileccia of Bridgeton; three sisters, Hester McAtee, Hazel Tucker, Rose Paulus, all of Perryville; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, twin brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
