FARRAR -- Edna R. Versemann, 80, of Farrar, died Monday, Jan. 15, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 30, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of John and Martha Mangels Lorenz. She and Edgar A. Versemann were married June 7, 1936.
Versemann was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and Salem Senior Servants.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Calvin Versemann of St. Louis, Roger and Darrell Versemann of Farrar; five daughters, Juanita Haertling of Frohna, Bernice Lohmann, Geraldine Koenig, Shirley Versemann and Karen Schmidt, all of Farrar; a brother, Eldor Lorenz of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
