BLOOMFIELD -- Edna M. Pickens, 107, of Bloomfield died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Bloomfield. She was born July 14, 1890, at Aid, daughter of William Henderson and Nancy Jane Harper. She and Curtis Cleveland Pickens were married June 30, 1912, at Acorn Ridge. He died July 20, 1974...

BLOOMFIELD -- Edna M. Pickens, 107, of Bloomfield died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Bloomfield.

She was born July 14, 1890, at Aid, daughter of William Henderson and Nancy Jane Harper. She and Curtis Cleveland Pickens were married June 30, 1912, at Acorn Ridge. He died July 20, 1974.

Pickens moved to San Jose, Calif., in 1937 from Bloomfield. She returned here in 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Curtis Pickens Jr. of Bloomfield, Joe Pickens of Mt. View, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Frank Bains officiating. Burial will be in San Jose.
