Edna W. Kiplinger McCulley, 75, of Scott City died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 7, 1933, at Portageville, Mo., daughter of Joe and Jeffie Gaines Robinson. She and Mitchell Garland Kiplinger were married Oct. 21, 1949. He died Dec. 26, 1973. She then married Nealy James McCulley Nov. 1, 1975. He died Jan. 21, 1997.
McCulley had been a custodian at Drury Southwest. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include five sons, Sammy Kiplinger of Granada Hills, Calif., Bruce and Aubrey Kiplinger of Kennett, Mo., Mike Kiplinger of Crystal City, Mo., Randy Kiplinger of Scott City; a daughter, Mary Houston of Ottawa, Kan.; two brothers, Vester and Gay Robinson of Portageville; a special friend, Buford Conder of Kennet; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Darren Larkin officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
