ULLIN, Ill. -- Edna Mae Crain King, 73, of Ullin died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, in Ullin. She was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Villa Ridge, daughter of George Oliver and Blanche Mae Atherton Von Nida. She married Ual L. King, who died in December 1986. King was formerly of Anna and Pulaski. She retired from Shawnee Development in 1986. ULLIN, Ill. -- Edna Mae Crain King, 73, of Ullin died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, in Ullin.

She was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Villa Ridge, daughter of George Oliver and Blanche Mae Atherton Von Nida. She married Ual L. King, who died in December 1986.

King was formerly of Anna and Pulaski. She retired from Shawnee Development in 1986. She was a member of Pulaski Christian Church, VFW Auxiliary in Mounds, and Moose Auxiliary in Anna.

Survivors include two daughters, Becky Kleckner and Pietie McClellan of Grand Chain; a son, Warren Crain of Villa Ridge; a brother, Gordan Von Nida of Mounds; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery near Villa Ridge.
