Edna Hunze, 86, of Ferguson died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at her home.
She was born June 21, 1911, in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of Charles T. and Nina Mae Pope Howard.
She and Charles Leo Hunze had been married 58 years.
She was a retired teacher.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Jeffrey Sippy officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 6.
Hunze was a graduate of Christian College in Columbia and Southeast Missouri State University, and had attended the University of California-Los Angeles.
She had taught school at Sikeston and Benton. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star, Spirit of St. Louis Doll Club and Clayton Club for Women.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charles Hunze Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Howard Hunze of Ferguson.
