Edna Holman, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1908, in Cerulean, Ky., daughter of Thomas Marvin and Cora Rodd Thomas. She and Lucian Holman were married Oct. 16, 1932, at Hopkinsville, Ky. He died July 6, 1974.
She retired as postmaster at Cerulean in 1972 after 23 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the Cerulean United Methodist Church.
She moved to Cape Girardeau in August 1996.
Survivors include two nieces, Barbara Weiss of Cape Girardeau and Karen S. Cole of Ponce De Leon, Mo.; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, Ky.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cerulean Cemetery in Cerulean with the Rev. Junior Heltsley officiating.
