MARBLE HILL -- Edna Jewell Gilder, 69, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998, at St. Louis University Hospital.
She was born Sept. 24, 1928, at Lutesville, daughter of Lewis and Edna Johnson Mansker. She and Wesley Gilder were married April 15, 1995.
She was retired from General Electric in St. Louis.
She was a member of Mount Zion General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Rita Russell and Paulette Jordan, both of St. Peters, Linda Swift of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Almon Mansker of Bloomfield and Erwin Mansker of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Lena VanGennip and Mary Parson, both of Marble Hill, Margaret Francis Patt of St. Charles, Louise Josey of Gordonville and Rachel Winingnear of Quilin; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Perry Welker and Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
