DELTA -- Edna E. Ikerman, 80, of Delta, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 27, 1912 at Leemon, Mo., the daughter of John Hodge and Emma Garner Hodge. She married Virgil Ikerman on April 28, 1928 at Cairo, Ill. He survives...

DELTA -- Edna E. Ikerman, 80, of Delta, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 27, 1912 at Leemon, Mo., the daughter of John Hodge and Emma Garner Hodge.

She married Virgil Ikerman on April 28, 1928 at Cairo, Ill. He survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Donald Ikerman, Perryville, Jerry Ikerman, Wood River, Ill., Delbert Ikerman, Benton, Larry Ikerman, Whitewater; three daughters, Patsy Dowdy, Paragould, Ark., Carolyn Barlow, Delta, Nora Johnston, Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Edwin Hodge, Jackson, Elery Hodge, Chaffee; three sisters, Zona King, Delta, Pearl Medlock, Cape Girardeau, Lorene Sides, Jackson; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Arvil Huffman officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery at Arbor.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
