Edna Dunn

HELOTES, Texas -- Edna Pauline Dunn, 96, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023, in Helotes.

She was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Sank, Missouri, to Joseph Wilson and Dora May Vavak. She married George Wesley Dunn on Feb. 7, 1942, and they enjoyed 65 years together.

Edna was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in San Antonio and Fellowship Bible Study Class.

Edna is survived by her daughters, Carmen Jones (Gerrie) and Kathy Lewis (John); five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Dunn, and her son, Gerald W. Dunn.

Her church service was held Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Crossroads Baptist Church.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church.
