EAST PRAIRIE -- Edna Irene Crenshaw, 81, of East Prairie died Monday, Dec. 23, 1996, at Bertrand Retirement Home in Bertrand.
She was born Feb. 26, 1915, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of John C. and Martha Elizabeth McBride Grogan. She first married Isom Carden, who preceded her in death. She later married Vernon Crenshaw, who died Nov. 3, 1966.
Crenshaw was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Blackman of East Prairie; a brother, Milton "Mutt" Grogan of East Prairie; a sister, Jeanette Carden of East Prairie; a half brother, William Grogan of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by six brothers.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Pastor Harold Norton officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
