SIKESTON, Mo. -- Edith Mae Richards, 87, of Sikeston died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born on Sept. 3, 1912, at Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Eugene B. and Lilah I. Link Hall. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had been a receptionist at the El Capri Motel for 15 years...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Edith Mae Richards, 87, of Sikeston died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born on Sept. 3, 1912, at Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Eugene B. and Lilah I. Link Hall.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had been a receptionist at the El Capri Motel for 15 years.

She married Roy W. Richards on Jan. 7, 1933, at Mokane, Mo. He died on Sept. 26, 1971.

Survivors include two sons, R.L. Richards of Sikeston and Larry Richards of Benton; a daughter, Barbara Box of Sikeston; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

The Rev. Greg Foster of Calvary Temple Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
