CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Edith M. Lee, 68, of Charleston died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Oct. 28, 1932, at Charleston, daughter of Press and Crystal A. Reno Berry Sr. She and Jesse Frank Lee Sr. were married June 25, 1948. He died Aug. 17, 1988.
Lee lived her entire life in Charleston, where she was a member of the First Baptist Church and had been employed with Brown Shoe Co.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse Frank Lee Jr. of Charleston, and Tracy Alan Lee of Jackson; a daughter, Phyllis Whitehead of Charleston; two brothers, Press Berry Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Bob Berry of Charleston; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
