HERMANN, Mo. -- Edith Kay Hale, 72, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at her home.
Edith was born on Jan. 24, 1944, in Centerville, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Mable (Leslie) Shaffer.
Edith is survived by her children, Rhonda Pender and husband Jim, Ramona Mundwiller and husband Mark and Rashell Hargrove and special friend Mike Scott; her siblings, Donald and Joseph Shaffer, Dana Comte and Sharon Baker; her four lovely grandchildren, Aaron and Brian Pender and Elizabeth and Adam Fries; and five adorable great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Gabbi, Collin and Charlotte Pender and Aydien Fries.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Virginia Lee Shaffer and Leon Shaffer; and one super-talented drummer and grandson, Chad Pender.
A private family service will be held.
