EDITH CAPRON

SIKESTON -- Edith M. Capron, 92, of Sikeston died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 4, 1905, in Randolph County, Ind., daughter of Christopher and Rosa Mae Conyers Kaufman. She and Paris R. Capron were married Sept. 4, 1926, in Union City, Ind.

Capron had been employed by City of Anderson, Ind., and Lynch Corp.

She moved here three years ago from Anderson. She was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Lopp of Sikeston; a brother, Floyed Kaufman of Muncie, Ind.; a sister, Faye Skinner of Greenville, Ohio; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a son, three daughters, two brothers, and four sisters.

Friends may call at Roselle-Johnson Funeral Home in Anderson from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Park Place Church of God in Anderson, with Dr. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will be at noon Wednesday in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, Ind.

Blanchard Funeral Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
