Funeral for Eddie Dale Kistner of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Douglas Breity will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Kistner, 73, died Monday, May 8, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born July 26, 1926, near Leemon, son of August and Mamie King Kistner.
Kistner owned and operated the Donut Drive-in 35 years, retiring in 1985. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church, and was a charter member in the development of Jackson Little League Baseball in 1955.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Kistner of St. Louis County, Ron Kistner of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
