DEXTER -- Eddie H. Elledge, 67, of Dexter died Monday, May 15, 2000, at his home.
He was born Sept. 26, 1932, at Wappapello, son of Postle Paul and Ada Hodgeson Elledge. He and Gertrude McDaniel were married Nov. 11, 1957, in Hernando, Miss.
Elledge formerly lived in the Wappapello and Puxico areas, moving to Dexter in 1956. He was retired from Stites Concrete. He was a member of Second General Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wayne and Harold Razer of Dexter; two brothers, Jerry Elledge of Edwardsville, Ill., Lloyd Elledge of Puxico; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Phil Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
