ORAN -- Funeral service for Earnest F. Reischman of Oran will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here after 3 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7, and KC prayer service at 7:30.
Reischman, 70 years old, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 1990, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born March 26, 1920, at St. Joseph, Tenn., son of Peter and Clara Holman Reischman. He and the former Elizabeth Spooler were married Feb. 15, 1947.
Reischman was a pipefitter with Missouri Utilities, retiring in 1981 after 30 years of service at Oran. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church and its St. Joseph Sodality, was a Third Degree knight of Oran KC Council 4311. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Don Reischman of Chaffee, Gary Reischman of New Hamburg; four daughters, Dolores Pobst and Rosemary Bryeans of Oran, Ruth Heisserer of Scott City, Judy West of St. Peters; a sister, Semina Wade of Oran, and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
