ADVANCE, Mo. -- Earlene Smith, 84, of Advance died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Itawamba County, Miss., daughter of Oscar and Sarah Dulany Johnson. She and Frank Smith were married Oct. 21, 1939, in Lepanto, Ark.
Smith was a member of the Church of Christ in Advance.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Frankie Smith of Marble Hill, Mo., Jimmy Smith of Jackson, Calvin and Keith Smith of Advance; a daughter, Patricia Smith of Advance; four sisters, Opal Boudra of Memphis, Tenn., Emil Blackard of Lone Oak, Ark., Nadine Kennedy of Garland, Texas, Delores Sedelco of Bloomfield, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Billy Davis officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
