EAST PRAIRIE -- Earlene Elizabeth Bonnie, 73, of East Prairie died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Dec. 9, 1920, at East Prairie, the daughter of Edward J. and Gladys Monroe Bonta.
She lived all her life in Mississippi County, where she worked for the Brown Shoe Company in Charleston for 38 years. After her retirement, she worked with the Visiting Nurses Association home care program. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include a brother, Bruce Bonta of East Prairie, and three sisters, Mildred Ziegenhorn and Evola Lynn, both of Sikeston, and Brenda Marshall of East Prairie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday. Mike Johnson and Burl Britt will officiate, and burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
